2023, Les Charmes, Morgon Arbois 12 month oaked Chardonnay fromLes Charmes from Morgon is one of Domaine Saint Cyrs most alluring Cru Beaujolais high up (around 500m), where cool nights and older vines (planted around 1954) produce deep, juicy and elegant Gamay with floral undertones. The 2023 vintage brought an unusual balance: significant rainfall in the spring and early summer heat created both roundness and freshness the result is a wine with ripe fruit and mineral finesse despite previous challenges.
