The prodigious 1998 Shiraz/Mourvedre Black Sock (80% Shiraz and 20% Mourvedre from 60-100 year old vines) is a blockbuster
Still a bit edgy owing to its firm acid/tannin spine and mineral underpinning but finishes with subtle length
This has plenty of extract and should have no problem evolving well because the tannins are both round and reasonably ripe
