Description

Palomino Fino grown at 560 m above sea level in Baños de Ebro

full-bodied and velvety flavors that also have an inherent exoticism

three miles from the sea

muscle and a certain amount of refinement

(from a 2-ha parcel with a mix of 80% 75+ year old vines and the remainder of 15 to 20-year-old vines)

Louis Michel, Chablis Forets Vintage:2019 Palomino Fino grown at 560Here too there is a hint of volatile acidity that is no more than a background element to the citrusy aromas of algae, apple and shellfish. There is fine volume to the delicious, lemony and succulent medium weight flavors that flash good minerality on the clean, dry and relatively powerful finish that exhibits just a touch of rusticity. This also needs to develop more depth so I would suggest giving it 2 to 3 years of bottle aging first.
